A graduate from Texas Tech University in Texas, USA, Zaidan Tahir began his foray into the design world as an architect in the States, cutting his teeth at a number of notable firms. It was in 1995 that he decided to return to his homeland of Malaysia and began practicing in local outfits, when he discovered his knack for interior design.
His approach is identifying the archetypal design elements that are uniquely associated to the site context and merging it with contemporary clean line. His works are often fresh, vibrant interiors with a throwback to the nostalgic.
To date, Duoz repeatedly awarded by MIID (Malaysian Institute of Interior Design) and have been published in local publishing.
